Job Description
A CT Technologist opportunity is available at a 404-bed tertiary care Level II Trauma Center and Joint Commission–accredited teaching hospital in Kissimmee, FL. The facility features a Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level II NICU, a Pediatric ER, and a Heart & Vascular Institute, with positions available at the main hospital as well as freestanding emergency department locations in the area.
The role. Working under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist performs computerized tomography scans on various portions of the body to assist medical staff in the detection of abnormalities. The role spans care for a patient population ranging from pediatric through geriatric, including critically ill and sub-acutely ill patients. The technologist also performs duties and functions as a Radiology Technologist as assigned. On-call availability is required for this role.
What we're looking for.
- One year of CT experience required. Freestanding emergency department (FSED) positions additionally require at least 1 year of acute care experience as a CT Tech.
- Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate of an approved School of Radiology.
- State of Florida HRS General Radiography license.
- Current BCLS-C certification.
- ARRT certification (R and CT) required at submission.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Schedule. Multiple shifts available, including days and nights across rotating weekend schedules at the main hospital and freestanding emergency department locations; on-call is required.
Compensation. $32.52 - $32.52/hr plus Sign On: case by case Relo: Case by Case Shift Diffs: Night diff is $4.50 and Weekend diff is $3.
