Salary:

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and evidence-based practices
  • Provide direct therapy services and interventions in accordance with established plans of care
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation (evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries)
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, payer, and accreditation requirements
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Articulation and phonological disorders
  • Expressive and receptive language disorders
  • Cognitive-communication deficits (e.g., memory, attention, problem-solving)
  • Voice and resonance disorders
  • Fluency disorders (e.g., stuttering)
  • Dysphagia (swallowing disorders)

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred (or Clinical Fellowship candidate considered)

Work Environment

  • May involve standing, walking, and assisting patients with mobility or positioning
  • Flexible schedule depending on patient volume and clinic needs
