Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic - Diesel

Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic: We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic with experience repairing diesel and hydraulic powered equipment. Candidates with fabrication and welding experience are strongly preferred.

Type of Equipment: Diesel powered drill rigs and mining machinery with hydraulic components and diesel powered vehicles

Work Environment: This is a small shop in western KCK so it will be a fairly laid-back environment but is part of a large company that can provide tools and parts when needed.

Responsibility Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment.
• Weld and fabricate parts and components as needed.
• Modify equipment based on project specifications.
• Periodically travel to project sites to help setup the equipment at the start of a new project.

Qualification Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel and hydraulic equipment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to meet physical requirements
• Valid driver's license

Shift: Daytime hours Monday-Friday, full-time position, some overtime expected
