Travel X-Ray Technologist
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Shift: Afternoons (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Weekend Requirement: Every 4th Weekend
On-Call: None
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic radiography experience, an active New York State license, and ARRT certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and explain examination processes.
- Operate radiographic equipment and maintain imaging records accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care.
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of current X-Ray experience required.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
- Active ARRT (R) certification required.
- Current AHA BLS Certification required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR required.
- Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred.
- Previous travel assignment experience strongly preferred.
