Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular IR experience, including EVAR, for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital in Ohio.
Details
- Work in a state-of-the-art Hybrid OR Suite within an inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology unit at a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital
- Procedures include IR angiography, vascular interventions (stents, angioplasty, thrombolysis, thrombectomy, dialysis graft interventions), neurovascular procedures (carotid angiography, embolization, vertebroplasty, discogram), and abdominal/pelvic procedures (mesenteric angiogram, liver biopsy, gastrostomy tube placement, TIPS)
- Additional procedures include chest tube placement, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Equipment includes PACS systems and GE Innova IGS (preferred)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- On-call requirement of a minimum of 125 hours per month
- Floating to other units within the health system may be required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Vascular Interventional Radiology
- EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) experience required
- ARRT (R) and BLS required; ACLS and ARRT (VI) preferred
- License required if applicable
- Experience at a Level I Trauma Center and/or teaching hospital preferred
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy, C-arm procedures, and PACS systems required
- GE Innova IGS experience preferred
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after being away for 6 months or more
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and must be 7 days or fewer
- Candidates are required to complete an Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after booking — fingerprinting kits will be mailed to candidates located far from Ohio, and detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team
