Waste Connections has an immediate opening for an **Outside Sales Rep** to join our team in **Elkhart, IN.** Our Outside Sales Rep will work directly with the District Sales Manager to formulate both short-term and long-term goals and action plans for the hauling company. We seek individuals with a leadership mentality and desire to grow with promotional opportunities in this role. **Waste Connections offers:** + Competitive Base Salary _plus_ Commission. + Company paid cell phone & Microsoft Surface Pro. + Mileage reimbursement. + Annual Chairman’s Club recognition for top national performers. + Benefits Plans – Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Account options. + Generous matching 401(K) and Paid Time Off. **Schedule:** Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed for community events. **Benefits:** We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term & short term disability, life insurance, parental leave, & 401(K). **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Selling commercial waste removal and disposal services. + Preparing proposals, calling on new and existing customers, and utilizing /owning our Salesforce driven CRM tool, ARES. + Being the main point of contact for a current book of business of commercial accounts. + Interacting with customers, non-profit, business associations, and trade shows. + Gathering contract expiration dates, documenting existing customer concerns, and working with other departments to satisfy customer requests for service. + 70% of your time will be spent in your designated territory, prospecting, building relationships, and exploring market opportunities. + 30% of this position will be spent in the office doing team building, strategic planning, and account management. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree _preferred_ . + Reliable transportation required. _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
