Overview of Position:
Heiser has an immediate opening for a Service Dispatcher. We are seeking a professional individual who demonstrates strong customer service skills, is detail and quality oriented, and has a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction. The Service Dispatcher works with our Service Department performing a range of administrative and customer service duties including making cost estimates, tracking the status of repairs, and writing reports that detail time and labor costs.
Responsibilities
Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests
Verify warranty and service contract coverage
Develop estimates
Write repair order
Focus on CSI is a must
Dispatch work to Technicians
Ensure customer needs are understood by technicians
Ensure needs and recommended services/repairs are understood by the customer
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
1+ year(s) relevant sales and service experience
Previous automotive service experience preferred
Valid and clean WI Driver's License
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to function as part of a team and work independently
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment
