Position Summary

We are seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our expanding clinical team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Performs clinical duties in a medical setting, such as scheduling appointments, taking patient histories, and recording vital signs.
  • Assist healthcare providers during medical exams, including preparing exam rooms, sterilizing medical instruments, and explaining procedures to patients.
  • Administers medications and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Conducts basic laboratory tests and performs phlebotomy procedures, including collecting and preparing specimens for testing.
  • Performs basic medical procedures, such as dressing changes, wound care, and suture removals.
  • Manages and maintains medical records, including patient charts, test results, and other important medical information.
  • Assists with patient education and provides information on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.
  • Answers, triages and responds timely to calls and messages.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
  • Prior experience in a medical office or specialty practice, preferably urology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
