Job Summary:
The location is in Clovis, California. The position is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves performing a full spectrum of diagnostic imaging, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or have an Associate's Degree in a related field; Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. Must have the following certifications: State of California Certified Technician in Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) covering all scopes including venipuncture, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA); and either Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB(CNMT)) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT(N)). Two years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional post-primary advanced certifications such as ARRT(CT), NMTCB(PET), or NMTCB(NCT) are preferred.
- Additional Information: The technician functions as a Scientific Technologist (Chemistry), performing routine Nuclear Medicine techniques, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and adhering to all regulatory requirements. Shifts include three 12-hour days with occasional Saturdays.
