Job Summary:
Eufaula, Oklahoma A Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray technology is needed for a diagnostic imaging position. This role involves operating radiographic equipment to produce images for medical evaluation and diagnosis. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Current CPR certification; Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience; Valid license to practice radiologic technology
  • Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of computed tomography (CT) and X-ray experience; BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Experience with Epic, McKesson EMR, Samsung Equipment, Siemens CT; Knowledge of anatomy and physiology; Ability to properly administer pharmaceuticals intravenously for imaging procedures; Knowledge of sharps usage practices and techniques
  • Additional Information: Operates diagnostic radiologic equipment including mammography, computerized tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include positioning patients, explaining procedures, administering pharmaceuticals, practicing radiation protection, adjusting equipment, obtaining and reviewing images, and performing quality control checks. Works directly with patients and healthcare staff, ensuring examinations are performed accurately and efficiently. Maintains examination rooms and supplies, and reports equipment malfunctions per protocol.
