Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position available in Sonora, California. This role involves operating radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images based on physician orders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires working days from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, primarily in an outpatient setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Sonora, California
- Shift: Days, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0 hours
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification, Radiologic Technician (RT) license in California, Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent certification, Fluoroscopy license in California (to be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Essential Functions: Operates X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images, positions and instructs patients, monitors safety, prepares exam rooms and equipment, documents procedures, verifies exams on PACS, and reports findings to physicians. Performs additional related duties as assigned.
- Additional Information: All required vaccinations must be completed prior to employment and annually thereafter. Adventist Health participates in E-Verify.
