Job Summary:
A MRI Technologist position is available in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures utilizing GE equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position requires a minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts primarily scheduled during the daytime.
Job Details:
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience for at least 2 years; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification; Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience with GE equipment and Meditech Expanse highly preferred; willingness to work weekends and evenings; ability to take call as needed; must have own vehicle; include perm address in traveler profile; and all relevant schedule requests must be made at the time of submission.
- Schedule: Days shift with the possibility of call; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves working alongside another MRI Tech or Tech Aide, never solo; after midnight coverage by call; rigid requests for time off must be noted and verified during initial upload; no more than 5 days of request for time off will be accepted. The department does not approve scheduling requests after offer or interview.
- Requirements: Perm address must be included in traveler profile; all scheduling and time off requests need to be specified at submission.
