Building Maintenance Technician (Multiple Automotive Dealerships – Austin, TX)

We are hiring a dependable, hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to support multiple automotive dealership locations in the Austin area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, solving problems independently, and keeping facilities running safely and efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits

• $27–$30/hr (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on dealership buildings and systems
• Handle general repairs across multiple dealership locations
• Assist with basic HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance
• Complete plumbing repairs and minor electrical work
• Respond to service requests in a timely, professional manner
• Travel locally between dealership sites during the workday
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely
• Keep facilities clean, safe, and fully operational

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of commercial or facility maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical basics
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance and safety practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without constant supervision

Preferred (Not Required)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong HVAC experience or certifications
• More advanced electrical or plumbing experience
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Experience working in customer-facing environments

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean enough driving record (minor violations OK)
• Recent DMV record (within 30 days)
• Stable work history
