Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure components meet exact specifications
  • Assemble aerospace mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques
  • Operate machining equipment and perform fabrication tasks to prepare parts for assembly
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to verify accuracy and adherence to safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including warehouse areas and fabrication zones
  • Follow safety protocols diligently, including forklift operation when handling materials in warehouse environments

Requirements

  • Proven experience with mechanical assembly in manufacturing or aerospace settings
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
  • Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering tools
  • Ability to operate machining equipment and perform fabrication tasks as needed
  • Experience with warehouse operations or forklift certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to aerospace component assembly
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision measurement and quality assurance
