Immediate Labor Compliance Specialist, Prevailing Wage opening for a well-established Structural Concrete construction company.  The ideal candidate takes the initiative, is detailed oriented and has 2+ years of Prevailing Wage/Labor Compliance experience and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing construction company. 


The Labor Compliance Specialist ensures full compliance with federal, state and local prevailing wage laws on public works and other regulated construction projects.  This role monitors contractor and subcontractor payroll practices, conducts audits and serves as a subject matter expert on labor standards including Davis-Bacon, state prevailing wage laws, and related labor compliance requirements. 


Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor and enforce compliance with prevailing wage and labor standards laws (Davis- Bacon Act, state prevailing wage statutes, local ordinances).

· Review certified payroll reports for accuracy, classification compliance, wage rates, fringe benefits and deductions.

· Conduct labor compliance audits

· Identify underpayments, prepare restitution calculations, and track corrective actions.

· Issue notices of non-compliance, requests for additional documentation, and compliance determinations.

· Stay current on changes to labor laws, wage determinations and compliance best practices.


Required Qualifications:

· 2+ years of experience in labor compliance, prevailing wage administration, payroll auditing or construction compliance.

· PLA/PSA knowledge.

· Working knowledge of prevailing wage laws and regulations (federal, state, and/or local).

· Experience reviewing certified payroll reports and conducting compliance audits.

· Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

· Ability to interpret wage determinations, labor classifications, and fringe benefit requirements.

· Proficiency with payroll systems such as LCP Tracker, eMars, PRISM and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
