Material Handler

WorkSource is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler / Shipping Clerk. This hybrid position is responsible for supporting both material handling and shipping/receiving functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proficiency with computers and documentation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move, load, and unload materials and products using forklifts or other warehouse equipment
• Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork accurately
• Enter data and maintain records using computer systems and basic software programs (Excel, Windows, etc.)
• Verify and track inventory, ensuring all materials are properly labeled and stored
• Collaborate with production and shipping departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a material handler, shipping clerk, or similar warehouse role
• Basic computer knowledge; ability to use Excel, Windows, and related software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed
