Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Install parts and subassemblies by using blueprints, schematics, and hand drawings.
Install parts and subassemblies checking for correct fit.
Resolves assembly problems by notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Fabricate hydraulic hoses as needed
General metal-working tasks and some MIG welding
Ensure all work is done safely and according to OSHA guidelines
Ensure all work sent downstream is of high quality and free of defects
Follow, create and maintain welding procedure documents such as work instructions
Update work board regularly, communicate with teammates and supervisors
Keep work area clean and organized according to 5-S principles
Maintain and care for all tools assigned to you
Follow company rules and policies as specified in the employee handbook
Helping team member on projects and jobs as needed
And other responsibilities assigned
Contribute to continuous improvement processes, procedures and methods
Experience:
· 0-3 years as Assembler 1 or 2.
Core Skills and Abilities:
Ability to remove and install parts which range from small and delicate, to large, heavy and awkward with necessary strength and dexterity
Ability to read and understand labels, manuals, bulletins, gauges and charts
Ability to identify bolt sizes, grade markings and strengths
Basic understanding of hydraulic system, seals, fittings, filters, pumps and valves
Ability to follow instructions, use templates and reading measurements
Ability to work in a small team as well as independently to produce results
Ability to understand and articulate mechanical operations and practices
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and hand drawings
Ability to use a wide variety of measuring tools such as a tape measure, square and calipers, but not limited to.
Ability to use heavy machinery such as forklift, crane and cutting shear, but not limited to.
Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, impacts and drills, but not limited to.
Use mathematical skills to calculate dimensions both decimals and fractions.
Good attendance, Positive attitude, Punctuality and willingness to work overtime.

Exposed to temperature change.
Noise levels in the shop will require ear protection to be worn.
Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
