About the Opportunity

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Receptionist to support its busy outpatient office. This is a temporary role covering a leave of absence, with strong potential to convert to a permanent position. The team is looking for someone with prior healthcare front desk experience who can provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, verifying insurance and demographic information
• Answer phones promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive patient experience
• Collect co-pays and explain patient financial responsibilities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
• Provide general administrative support and assist with daily office operations
• Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and service excellence

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a medical front desk or healthcare administrative role
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry
• Experience with Epic is preferred but not required
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
