Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides oversight, leadership and supervision for assigned Beyond the Classroom school-based staff as well as serves as performance evaluator for assigned Team Leads. Responsible for ensuring assigned schools’ achievement of performance goals and maintaining ongoing positive relationships with assigned schools and administrators.

Senior Team Lead Responsibilities

  • Develops, coaches, and mentors Team Leads to maintain accountability, achieve goals, and effectively lead school-based teams. Serves as performance management supervisor.
  • Provides oversight and maintains accountability for assigned school(s)’ achievement of performance goals including outcomes and satisfaction, persons served, financial, employee relations and development.
  • Builds leadership capabilities and competencies into Team Leads.
  • Facilitates 1:1 and group supervision of Team Leads.
  • Supports the ongoing operationalization of the BtC model, develops process and procedures, standardizes ways of working, and supports the growth of the BtC model. Develops playbooks to outline core functions of roles and identify where standardization versus customization exists.
  • Serves as critical advisor to BtC leadership in areas like growth, high quality standards, data analysis, and accountability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, provided such duties are reasonably related to the essential functions of the position and do not conflict with applicable laws or organizational policies.

Within School

  • Serves as the leader for school-based team, regularly analyzes, and is accountable for team performance of goals and overall performance to goals (both school, client, and agency related goals).
  • Coordinates BAPC BtC staff assigned to the school/district.
  • Responsible for ongoing data analysis, continuous improvement, facilitation of learning projects, and operationalization of BtC model.
  • Ensures school-based service delivery aligns with the vision and mission of BtC and BAPC.
  • Provides oversight and coordination of service connection and delivery for families to ensure continuity of care. Consistently engages families in a welcoming and inclusive manner to build ongoing involvement.
  • Supports the day-to-day relationship with key school partners and utilizes best-in-class customer service delivery to ensure customer needs are met. Escalates customer concerns VP as needed.
  • Leads BtC Leadership huddles, QI projects, and team huddles.
  • Provides needs assessments as appropriate in schools served. Connects parents, children, and families to resources, internal to BAPC or external, based on what has been discovered during the needs assessment process.
  • Ensures any referral connections are made successfully, removes barriers to scheduling, and provides routine check-ins and family outreach to identify progress and any additional needs.
  • Consistently meets and/or exceeds targets for completion of assessments to initiate first parent contact and drive involvement in services.
  • Serves as first point of contact for triage of non-clinical issues within school, with parents, school administrators, etc.
  • As appropriate, provides coordinator and leadership of school events, programming, etc. to encourage family involvements and outreach.
  • In schools where Beech Acres prevention work is present: provides support in TCE led school events, programming, etc. to encourage family involvement and outreach.
  • Attends and engages in school administration meetings (and other meetings, as appropriate), participates and supports school efforts and initiatives, and provides training for school staff on relevant topics.
  • Assists students in crisis support services, as needed.
  • Ensures that mandatory reporting procedures are maintained.
  • Coordinates and develops communication materials that meet the needs of school, parents and families.
  • Works in close collaboration with BtC leadership and supervisors to manage relationships with school administration and key leaders.
  • May facilitate team or organizational professional development, based on areas of subject matter expertise.
  • Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • This role is school based in nature and may require work outside of standard business hours to support family events, school events, etc. Travel to BAPC campuses and within the community is required

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience of leading high functioning teams with excellence
  • Must have bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Social Services/Human Services area of study + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience meeting the needs of kids and/or families.
  • High level of innovative and critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively lead processes that support continuous improvement and model operationalization.
  • Business and financial acumen to monitor program financials and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of mental health, community resources engagement and/or population health is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school-based services setting is preferred.
  • Previous experience with quality improvement or continuous improvement methodology is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Outstanding ability to build and foster trusting relationships. Strong networker with the ability to engage diverse audiences and meet families where they are.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to engage and motivate teams towards achievement of goals and targets.
  • When there is a program, school or district need for the Team Lead to provide clinical supervision, in addition to functional supervision, all state, accreditation and Clinical Best Practice compliance standards will be met.
