Reach Truck Operator - Immediate Start

Position Summary

We are searching for a skilled Reach Truck Operator for immediate start in Ashland, VA. In this position, you will perform a variety of tasks ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials within the warehouse facility. Duties may include picking orders and preparing them for shipment, receiving and processing inbound materials, and entering data into the computer and RF systems. In addition, you will maintain documentation for all incoming and outbound orders and perform overall quality checks.

Reach truck experience (stand up forklift) is required. You must be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck forklift (stand up forklift)
• Order picking
• Packaging
• Receiving and processing inbound materials
• Entering data into computer and RF systems
• Maintain documentation
• Quality inspection
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior warehouse experience
• Reach Truck operation experience (stand up forklift) is required
• Must be able to start immediately
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to work 8+ hours standing, stooping, twisting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting.
• Comfortable using hand tools or willing to learn. Must have a consistent work history
• Steel Toe boots required (additional PPE provided)
• Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching

Employment Type & Compensation

• This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
• Pay rate is $18.00 per hour
• Application Window: Open until filled

Work Schedule

• Days | Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
