Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring stepdown experience and the ability to support multiple units including ER hold, psych, and inpatient rehab.
Details
- Float pool position supporting multiple units including ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AR or Compact RN license in good standing required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Stepdown experience required; critical care experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team across various units
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans through a Shared Governance model
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members with a focus on evidence-based practice
- This position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
- The facility conducts its own on-site drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all products that could produce a positive result, including CBD, prior to and during the assignment
