About the Role: In this position, you will be responsible for managing fixed-form and slipform concrete paving operations on one or multiple construction projects.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Work with the superintendent to plan ahead for paving operations on the project.
- Manage a crew of laborers, cement masons, and operators
- Work with office and jobsite superintendent to order materials and equipment needed for your operation
- Provide training to crew when necessary
- Work with quality control department to ensure all jobsite standards are met.
- Attend jobsite meetings when necessary
- Ensure field policies and procedures are being followed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in concrete paving is required.
- Previous experience with slipform and fixed-form paving methods is required.
- Previous experience in concrete paving on airfields is preferred.
The job will demand long hours and some weekends. Travel may be required. This work is seasonal , therefore no work is expected to take place during winter months.
Starting pay based on experience. Applicants must be willing to learn certain skills required for the position.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and a drug test. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license.
