Licensed Land Surveyor

We are looking for a licensed surveyor to join our team. Start date is flexible for the right candidate.

• Sign off on completed Land Survey maps and exhibits
• Mapping of topography surveys
• Lot Line Adjustment & Lot Merger document checking.
• Easement and Right-of-Way Acquisition and Vacation document checking
• Preparation of easement and right-of-way legal descriptions and plats.
• Ability to respond to questions and recommend appropriate administration of the Subdivision Map Act and Professional Land Surveyor’s Act.
• Legal work - Provide law firms, title companies, and cities technical expertise in the review of defective title, reformation of deeds, expert witness.
• Providing technical guidance and support to surveying staff.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of survey data and deliverables.
• California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
• Experience with preparation and review of subdivision maps, parcel maps, legal descriptions, lot line adjustments and lot mergers, right-of-way engineering, easements, records of survey, corner records, ALTA/NSPS surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, and design surveys.
• Proficient with Trimble Business Center
• Proven ability to complete all technical aspects of a surveying task
• Good social and communication skills
• Reputation as a trusted and respected member of the surveying community
• Valid driver’s license
