Delivery Driver / Warehouse

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. Your day will involve loading and unloading shipments, navigating route driving with precision, and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including 12' & 16' Stake Trucks, 16' Air tow trailers, 12' Enclosed trailers, 20' Open utility trailers
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Manage delivery routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and optimizing travel paths for timely service.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Verify shipment accuracy, document delivery details, and complete all necessary logs and reports accurately.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Follow all safety regulations related to driving, lifting, and warehouse operations to ensure a secure environment for yourself and colleagues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role, with familiarity in route driving and load & unload procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving items safely and efficiently.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is desirable; familiarity with load securing practices is beneficial.
