Commercial Litigation Attorney

Our client, a top NY law firm with over 250 attorneys has an immediate opening for an experienced commercial litigation attorneys for its Long Island office. The role seeks someone with at least 6 years of commercial experience along with strong communication skills. Must have experience managing cases, working with e-discovery databases, strong writing and be able to collaborate with seniro attorneys.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts.
• Manage e-discovery receipt, review and productions.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategies.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, and negotiations

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to the New York Bar

Preferred:

• Prior employment at a premier law firm.
• Successful completion of a Federal Clerkship.
• Involvement in Legal Law Journal/Periodical while in Law School.
• Exceptional academic record.
