We are seeking a Semi Truck Driver to join our team, responsible for local routes transporting general freight. This role involves operating vehicles safely, maintaining logs, managing fuel, and interacting professionally with customers. Drivers report to the Fleet Manager, Dispatcher, and Operations Supervisor and perform basic daily vehicle checks to ensure operational safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate semi trucks on local routes delivering sod
- Maintain accurate driving logs via an app w/ sign in & out
- Managing your fuel levels, we have on-site tanks
- Perform basic daily vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in commercial truck driving
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Demonstrated driving safety awareness
- Strong customer service skills
