Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Special Education (SPED) teaching license (please confirm specific endorsements required)
- Experience working with middle school age students
- High degree of comfort and skill in managing aggressive behaviors
- Commitment to individualized support and ongoing student progress
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside classroom paras
- Flexibility and adaptability in challenging situations
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support for one middle school student with severe behavioral needs
- Implement and monitor behavior management strategies, providing consistent, structured support
- Collaborate daily with a supportive para to ensure student safety and educational growth
- Document progress, behavioral incidents, and interventions as required
- Engage in regular communication with caregivers, school staff, and relevant professionals to support holistic student development
- Participate in any required school or district onboarding procedures
