Pay Rate
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday

7:00AM – 4:00PM

Assistant Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist technicians with overhead crane maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations
• Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical components
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with welding, rigging, and fabrication tasks as needed
• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment at job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Complete assigned tasks while following company safety procedures and OSHA standards
• Communicate professionally with team members and customers on job sites
• Travel to customer locations throughout the Gulf South region as required
• Support senior technicians during emergency service calls and equipment breakdowns
• Follow directions from supervisors and work independently when needed
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop technical and mechanical skills

Assistant Service Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to assist with field-related activities, including inspections, installations, and repairs of cranes and below-the-hook devices
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screening
• Ability to climb, stand, lift, and work at elevated heights for extended periods
