Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract role runs from August 3, 2026, through June 25, 2027, offering the chance to impact students ages 15–21 who are pursuing their high school diplomas while gaining career technical skills. The program provides a flexible, self-paced curriculum focused on dropout recovery and long-term success for its students.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience supporting youth with diverse learning needs, preferably in high school or alternative education
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to design, adapt, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Patience, dedication, and a passion for empowering students facing unique challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support in a dynamic classroom setting for students requiring IEPs
• Assess students’ abilities and create tailored learning goals and accommodations
• Collaborate with general educators, counselors, and other team members to address academic and behavioral needs
• Engage students in both academic and career-readiness activities
• Maintain accurate records and regularly communicate progress to students, families, and staff
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and motivating learning environment
