Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support accounting operations for an organization in Visalia, California. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who can independently manage day-to-day financial activities while maintaining accurate records and timely reporting. The role requires strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks and the ability to oversee both payables and receivables in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are accurate, current, and organized.
• Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and maintain accurate accounts payable documentation.
• Generate customer invoices, apply incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances as part of accounts receivable management.
• Reconcile bank accounts and related financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update accounting data within QuickBooks to support reliable reporting and daily operations.
• Prepare routine financial summaries and assist with month-end close activities as needed.
• Review accounting entries for accuracy and consistency while supporting overall ledger maintenanc
• At least 3 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping role.• Demonstrated proficiency using QuickBooks in an accounting environment.
• Practical experience handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong background in completing bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Solid understanding of core bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping standards.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a collaborative work setting.
