Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Description
This position involves counting parts on shelves in a warehouse environment, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with two UAW members to conduct inventory audits.
- Review over 38,000 parts and verify their codes in SAP.
- Complete inventory sheets and enter information into SAP.
- Engage in problem-solving and investigative tasks if a code is not found, including reviewing original purchase orders.
- Accurately count various types of products.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in inventory control and inventory counting.
- Familiarity with cycle counts and SAP ERP systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- SAP experience is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in inventory management and cycle counting.
- Problem-solving and investigative skills for addressing miscounts or recounts.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Work Environment
The position operates in a warehouse setting, working Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Wentzville, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
