Position Title: General Labor-Industrial

Location: Montgomery City, MO 63361

Shift Timing: Mon - Fri 7 AM - 3 PM

Duration: 03 months contract and the possibility to extend the contract.

Pay Rate: $24.20 on W2

Job Description

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our dynamic team at Purina Animal Nutrition LLC. The role centers on industrial general labor, including housekeeping, running basic equipment, and performing repetitive cleaning and sanitizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. All training and instructions are provided on the job, and proficiency is typically achieved quickly.

Schedule & Worksite Details:

• Days: Mon - Fri
• Hours: 7 AM - 3 PM
• Steel-toed shoes required

Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping, industrial cleaning, and sanitizing tasks.
• Operate basic equipment as directed.
• Follow oral and written instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all safety guidelines and site policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for prolonged periods.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effective communication in one-on-one and group settings.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to pass a forklift training test; forklift operation is less than 5% of tasks.
• Basic math and counting skills.

Work Environment & PPE:

• Exposure to extreme heat/cold/dust/noise may occur.
• Respirator use required as directed by site procedures.
• Steel-toed shoes required.
