Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You'll support a dropout recovery and prevention program focused on providing flexible, self-paced curriculums, high school diplomas, and hands-on career tech training, helping students transition into sustainable jobs after graduation.
In this role, you’ll provide essential guidance and instruction tailored to the diverse needs of students. You'll collaborate with a supportive team, contributing to a program designed to give every student the opportunity for academic achievement and meaningful career pathways.
Desired Background and Skills:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with high school-aged students with varied educational needs.
- Strong ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Skilled at fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction aligned with IEP goals in accordance with program requirements.
- Assess students’ progress and adjust strategies to meet unique learning needs.
- Collaborate with support staff, families, and career training teams to ensure student success.
- Maintain precise records and documentation for student progress and compliance.
- Contribute proactively to a positive school culture and the program’s mission of preparing students for post-graduate opportunities.
This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with a consistent full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
