Special Ed Teacher | Kaukauna, Wisconsin

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching licensure or certification (required)
• Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, preferably in grades K-5
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and related service providers
• Dedication to culturally responsive, student-centered teaching practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver instruction tailored to individual student needs, both inside and outside the classroom
• Write and manage IEPs, ensuring compliance and tracking measurable goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and differentiation
• Foster a safe, nurturing learning environment that encourages student engagement and independence
• Communicate regularly with families to celebrate progress and address challenges
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all procedural safeguards and policies
