Food Production AssociateJob Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Food Production Associates. In this role, you will support various stages of the production process, including ingredient preparation, packaging, and sanitation. This position requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesMelting & Ingredient Preparation

• Handle and transport butter blocks weighing approximately 40 lbs
• Load butter into industrial melting equipment for use in production
• Monitor the melting process to ensure proper preparation of ingredients
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace around processing equipment

Packaging & Production Support

• Assist in operating automated filling machines for sweetened and condensed products
• Package finished goods into boxes, pails, and totes
• Label products accurately according to company and regulatory standards
• Ensure proper product flow and assist with minor machine operations

Sanitation & General Duties

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in compliance with food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, equipment, and tools
• Support general labor tasks including loading, picking, and material handling
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

Required Skills

• General labor and production experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment
• Packing, loading, and material handling experience
• Understanding of sanitation and cleaning practices
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in food production or food handling environments
• Familiarity with packaging equipment and automated machinery
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
• Basic English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
