Location: Missoula, Montana
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00). On-call coverage required 1-3 nights per week. Weekend coverage occasionally required. Daily census of 8-10 patients. Position involves floating between three different hospital areas including inpatient, emergency department, vascular, procedures, outpatient, breast imaging, and OB.
Highlights:- 13-week travel assignment at a 209-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma designation
- Rotating schedule through three distinct ultrasound areas: inpatient/ER/vascular/procedures, outpatient/breast imaging, and OB
- Teaching hospital environment with Epic charting system
- Comprehensive ultrasound experience across multiple specialties including general, vascular, breast, and OB/GYN
- Free parking provided on-site
- Approximately 40 hours of paid orientation
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience required (non-negotiable)
- Valid Montana or Compact state allied license required at time of submission
- ARDMS certification required; additional certifications preferred: ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR, ARDMS OB/GYN, RDCS-RVT
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Experience with abdominal, vascular, breast, and OB/GYN ultrasound procedures
- Skills in Doppler studies, PACS, portables, and ultrasound-guided procedures preferred
- Must be prepared to float between units within the facility
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
