RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating days off from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
\n• 40 hours per week guaranteed
\n• Day/Evening shift schedule
\n• Mandatory call requirement with on-call responsibilities
\n• Washington State RN license or Compact license required
\n• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
\n• Preference given to candidates who can both scrub and circulate
\n• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
\n• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members including physicians, patients, and families
\n• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using nursing process and unit-specific standards
\n• Collect patient information, complete holistic assessments, and respond appropriately to patient status changes
\n• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
\n• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
\n• Provide patient and family education with written materials
\n• Evaluate discharge planning for appropriateness and educational needs
\n• Document care provided, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
\n• Handle emergency situations promptly and professionally
\n• Must function within Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines and maintain current knowledge of legal nursing aspects
