Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring Epic proficiency, at least 3 years of experience, and on-call availability.

Details\n

\n
• Interventional cardiac cath lab setting
\n
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
\n
• On-call required approximately 1–2 shifts per week
\n
• Every 3rd weekend shift required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Procedures include cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, cardioversion, sheath removal/monitoring, procedural sedation, and vascular closure systems
\n
• Preferred procedures include PCI, left and right heart catheterization, TAVR, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, TEE, Watchman procedure, rotablator atherectomy, valvuloplasty, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, and ventricular assist device insertion
\n
• Medications include antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, IV vasopressors, thrombolytics, reversal agents, and procedural sedation agents
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license required
\n
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n
• Minimum 3 years of cath lab RN experience required
\n
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
\n
• Experience with ACT monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition, external compression devices, and topical hemostasis required
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
\n
