Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Compensation: $1795 - $2163 | Shift: 5x8 Evenings

This position is crucial for supporting daily nursing operations and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care.
In your role as a Registered Nurse within this long-term care facility, you will be instrumental in promoting the health and comfort of residents. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Effective communication with physicians, families, and other stakeholders regarding significant changes in residents' health status
- Conducting all necessary resident assessments
- Administering medications in accordance with the 5 Rights
- Providing wound care and assessments as required
- Supporting CNAs in responding to call lights
- Monitoring residents for any changes in their condition
- Taking a leadership role on the floor by evaluating and managing situations as they arise
- Reporting any suspected cases of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
- Keeping accurate resident records with detailed and precise charting
- Carrying out additional duties as assigned
To thrive in this position, you should possess:
- A two-year nursing degree (a four-year degree is preferred)
- A valid Registered Nursing license in Wisconsin
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar setting
- Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
