American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care (ICU) travel position in Massachusetts, requiring a minimum of 2 years of CCU/ICU experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.
Details- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Critical Care unit serving a diverse, acutely ill patient population including trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, cardiac, and medically unstable patients
- Patients require Q1H or more frequent monitoring, assessment, and intervention
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week assignment
- Active Massachusetts RN license required (MA Temp License accepted); license must be current through the duration of the assignment or show proof of active renewal
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; certifications must not expire within 30 days of the assignment start date
- Minimum 2 years of CCU/ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Date of birth and full Social Security number required for consideration
- Provide intensive nursing care to a high-acuity, mixed patient population requiring frequent monitoring and intervention
- No specific scrub color is required; blue is a commonly worn color on the unit
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
- Former permanent staff of this facility are not eligible to return as travel nurses
- Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are accepted at a reduced rate
- COVID-19 medical and religious exemptions are accepted but must be documented and provided for consideration
