\n About the Role
\n ShareSTAFF is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for ongoing, full-time locum tenens coverage at a 440-bed, Level I Trauma Center operating 25 active ORs in Louisville, Kentucky.
\n This is a high-acuity, fast-paced anesthesia environment with a wide case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, oncology, urology, ENT, colorectal, plastics, ophthalmology, hand surgery, GI, endoscopy, pain management, and trauma. Selected providers will be cross-credentialed at two additional affiliated hospital campuses in the Louisville metro area — expanding your clinical footprint within one integrated health system.
\n Full-time candidates are required. This is a high-volume, ongoing contract with strong scheduling depth and long-term placement potential.
\n Note: Candidates residing within 45 miles of the primary facility are not eligible for this assignment.
\n What You'll Do
\n • Provide CRNA services in a supervised anesthesia model across a 25-OR, Level I Trauma Center
\n • Administer and manage anesthesia for a high-volume, diverse surgical caseload: general surgery, orthopedics, oncology, colorectal, urology, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, hand surgery, GI, endoscopy, pain management, and trauma
\n • Collaborate with the Chief CRNA, surgical teams, and attending anesthesiologists to ensure safe, efficient OR operations
\n • Document care accurately and in real time using Cerner EMR
\n • Adapt to fast-paced surgical scheduling and high-acuity clinical demands in a 440-bed academic medical center
\n • Comply with all facility protocols, Joint Commission standards, and evidence-based anesthesia practice guidelines
\n • Participate in cross-credentialing orientation at affiliated campuses as required
\n What You Bring - Required
\n • Active CRNA license in good standing — compact state license accepted; Kentucky licensure facilitated during credentialing
\n • Board Certification (NBCRNA) required
\n • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
\n • Demonstrated experience in a large hospital or Level I/II Trauma Center setting
\n • Full-time availability, Monday – Friday
\n • Must reside more than 45 miles from the primary Louisville facility
\n • Ability to pass pre-assignment background check, drug screen, and health/credentialing clearance
