Cath Lab/IR Tech - 10 Hour Days
Location\nMaryland
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\nDay shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00). Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month. On-call availability is required, with a guarantee of 2-hour call-back.
Job Description\nThe Cath Lab/IR Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures in both the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in handling cardiovascular interventions.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform elective catheterizations, including both diagnostic and interventions. \n
- Participate in emergency response for STEMI call, ensuring timely activation and support. \n
- Maintain a sterile field and assist in procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, AICD insertions, and pacemaker insertions. \n
- Coordinate care effectively within the interdisciplinary team. \n
- \n
- ARRT certification required; RCIS acceptable with experience in Cath Lab and IR. \n
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications. \n
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cath Lab or IR environment. \n
- Must be nicotine-free due to facility policies. \n
