Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a CVICU position requiring 2 years of experience and an active OK or Compact RN license.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital environment
\n
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15)
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• May float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU as needed with brief unit orientation provided
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (OK State or Compact) currently in hand
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
\n
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
\n
• Experience with IV therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, and central/PICC line care
\n
• Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, and chest tube insertion/removal assistance
\n
• Experience with CVVHD/CRRT and acute/chronic renal failure management
\n
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips and administering continuous IV sedation
\n
• Experience with Impella, sheath removal, and cardiac dysrhythmia management
\n
• Experience with CVA/acute stroke management and IV insulin protocols
\n
• Epic charting experience preferred
\n

\n
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
\n
• Former staff members must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
\n
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
\n
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
