Industrial Process Improvement Engineer, Material Handling Systems

Role focus

Elevate manufacturing performance through data-led problem solving, robust process design, and cross-functional collaboration—especially within the Material Handling Department.

Key outcomes

• Continuous improvement projects delivered on time and aligned to production planning and inventory management needs.
• Measurable gains in product quality through process optimization and equipment performance analysis.
• Actionable Power BI reporting (including uptime/downtime) that drives floor-level decisions.
• Faster resolution of complex manufacturing and coating process issues.

Core responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine manufacturing processes to improve stability, throughput, and quality.
• Investigate equipment operation, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across material handling, coordinating closely with Operations, Quality, and Commercial.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and create uptime/downtime reports to monitor performance.

Required background

• 5+ years of process engineering experience with proven achievements in process design, development, and optimization.
• Demonstrated strength troubleshooting complex manufacturing and coating processes.
• Experience in industrial production planning or material handling process improvements.
• Professional experience producing Power BI reports and uptime/downtime analytics.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.

Collaboration

Partner daily with Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams to align priorities, remove barriers, and sustain improvements.
