What You’ll Do:
- Conduct initial case assessments to support attorney review and case strategy
- Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents with the court
- Manage key administrative and case coordination tasks, including maintaining calendars, scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and supporting overall case logistics
- Maintain and organize pleadings, discovery materials, and related case documentation
- Compile, organize, and manage exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for attorney use
- Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including interrogatories and other formal requests
- Review and summarize medical records and other discovery materials to support case preparation
- Collect and synthesize relevant information from multiple sources as needed
- Perform electronic filing (e-filing) in accordance with court requirements and procedures
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox to support case management and document organization
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience working as a paralegal in a legal setting
- Working knowledge of motions, discovery, evidentiary materials, litigation documentation, and applicable court rules, procedures, and practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet concurrent deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to review, analyze, synthesize, and summarize medical records and other case-related documentation
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients in a professional and supportive manner
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
- Litigation experience preferred (minimum of 2+ years) but not required
- Paralegal certificate required
