Picture this: it’s Friday, you step onto a clean, organized shop floor in Grantsburg, WI. You set up a CNC mill, double-check a blueprint, and dial in a tight tolerance on a run of precision parts. By Sunday evening, you’ve completed 36 hours of focused work—yet you’re paid for 40, with a 15% shift differential. If that sounds like your kind of weekend, you’ll feel at home here.

What you’ll handle
  • Set up and run both CNC and manual machines to produce top-quality components.
  • Hold and verify tight tolerances on precision parts throughout production.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs to ensure every detail is correct.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they come up.
  • Monitor processes and make on-the-fly adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  • Partner with teammates to refine setups, tooling, and cycle times for better efficiency.
  • Keep your area spotless and safe, following established safety practices.
Schedule & pay highlights

What you bring
  • At least 3 years of machining experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on proficiency with CNC mills, lathes, and other shop machinery.
  • Solid grasp of machining processes, tooling selection, and common materials.
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Sharp problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
