Carpenter

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg is seeking a carpenter with multi-family (apartment) experience to join our corporate maintenance team. The corporate roving carpenter assists with various tasks at MRG-managed apartment communities and commercial locations. This position does not require overnight travel or travel outside the greater Memphis metropolitan area (includes DeSoto and Tunica counties in northwest Mississippi and Crittenden county in Arkansas).

Skills needed: cornice work, aristex, siding, wood rails, fences, interior trim, subfloors, tile, sheetrock, doors, and locks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of local codes
  (Tennessee: Memphis, Collierville, Shelby county. Mississippi: Southaven, Hernando, DeSoto county, Robinsonville, Tunica county. Arkansas: Marion, West Memphis, Crittenden county.)
• Must have the tools necessary to perform the job's duties
• Must have reliable transportation suitable for maintenance and repair work (truck or van required)
• Must have a valid driving license and proof of current automobile insurance.
• Must pass a criminal background check, credit check, and pre-employment drug screening.
