Full-Time | On-Site | Family Medicine | North Carolina
Join a respected, physician-led independent Family Medicine practice serving the Wilmington community. We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our collaborative clinical team and support high-quality, patient-centered primary care across the lifespan.
Our practice emphasizes continuity, prevention, and whole-person wellness while maintaining the close provider–patient relationships that define independent family medicine.
Position Highlights
- 100% Outpatient Family Medicine — no hospital rounding
- Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview
The Physician Assistant will work closely with supervising physicians and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive primary care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and medical histories
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide patient education and preventive care counseling
- Accurately document care in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications/Education
Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Experience
- 3–5 years of family medicine or primary care experience preferred
- Current PA-C certification
- Eligible for or holding North Carolina Physician Assistant licensure
Skills and Competencies
- Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment
- EHR proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a diverse patient panel in a fast-paced outpatient setting
