Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare staff with daily clinical operations
- Obtain and document vital signs and health information
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
- Maintain medical records and documentation
- Support medication documentation and communication processes
- Assist with intake and healthcare forms
- Communicate professionally with providers, pharmacies, families, and staff
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Support compliance with DBHDD and organizational policies
- Assist with medical supply inventory and organization
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or IDD services preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Experience supporting behavioral health or community residential services
- Knowledge of medication documentation procedures
