This position contributes to our vision by:
• Develops and monitors the Fabrication & Machining team process.
• Manages maintenance and practice of safety standards.
• Monitors parts production by implementing new ideas and innovations which will produce quality parts while controlling cost.
• Ensures that all machinery is maintained in safe and good working condition.
• Controls manpower to insure cost centers are properly manned to achieve schedule requirements.
• Provides training and directions to employees.
• Encourages employees to improve skills and seek opportunities for advancement.

Candidate skills & requirements

At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in related area (Business, Engineering, etc.) or 6 years related experience.
• At least five years' experience in production processes, machinery, and equipment related to sheet metal fabrication, plastic forming technology, foam and adhesive/upholstery assembly, welding applications, and/or metalworking technology.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience as a supervisor and/or superintendent in similar related work.
• Must have experience maintaining a flow schedule of parts through the shop.
• Planning experience a plus.
